What Are Common Air Conditioning Problems?

Falso Service Experts is here with a few of the most typical cooling problems in East Syracuse.

  • No Cool Air

If you can hear your air conditioner operating but there isn’t cool air blowing, you could need to have your refrigerant levels checked. Refrigerant is what helps make sure the air blowing from your air conditioner is actually cool. Call Falso Service Experts and we’ll come out and check your refrigerant levels and look into why your air conditioner is not producing cool air.

  • Fan Won’t Rotate

One reason your condenser fan isn’t rotating could be that it simply burned out and you require a replacement. Humidity could cause more condensation so a second issue to watch for is that the water is not draining right or that the drain is blocked. If you can check these issues, you may be able to pinpoint the issue; if not, give Falso Service Experts a call and we can investigate what has stopped your condenser fan from rotating and go over your options to get your system cooling again.

  • Not Cooling Properly

First, try lowering the temperature on your thermostat. It sounds ridiculous but sometimes we neglect the obvious. If that doesn’t get your system cooling, inspect the air filter. If the air filter is blocked, it could cause major cooling issues. Another issue that could cause your insufficient cooling is that your air conditioner is not sized properly, and unfortunately this is a typical issue when homes are constructed. Falso Service Experts will come out and perform an analysis to determine if the size of your system is causing your issues.

  • System is Short Cycling

If your AC is short cycling, or turning on or off constantly, it could mean one of several things. One is that your condenser or evaporator is dirty and in need of cleaning. Once the equipment is cleaned and all obstructions removed, you may be back in business. Keep in mind that humidity also plays a piece so if your home cools to the desired temperature, but then the humidity causes your home to warm up again, it could result in on-again, off-again air conditioning because the system is having to work harder to keep your home comfortable.

No matter your issue, whatever AC trouble you run into, Falso Service Experts is here for you 24/7/365 so we can get your home comfortable quickly.
