Midland Air Service Experts was excited to volunteer with the Midlands Ride for Kids a few weeks ago. April 2016 is the second year that Midland Air has volunteered for this amazing event that gives all the proceeds to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, the leading nonprofit financing research into childhood brain tumors. The raised money funds free education resources, college scholarships for brain tumor survivors, and emergency financial aid for families.
Midland Air Service Experts contributed $1000 to this wonderful cause and the nationwide event has raised $559,241.44. Rebecca Jumper, Midland Air’s PLUS Maintenance Agreement Specialist, has been helping with the event since 2014 and her father’s motorcycle group rides in the Midlands Ride for Kids each year.
“My dad’s riding club participates every year because they can have a good time and ride motorcycles, all for this wonderful cause.” Take a look at Rebecca’s dad below with his 2016 rider:
The philanthropic motorcycle riders may do it for fun, but Midland Air Service Experts doesn’t have as many motorcycle riders. “We just do it for the kids,” said Rebecca.
